Sunday 3/6/16 Update

It was good to be in the House of the Lord this morning.  We got to see many of our loving church family and we stayed for the Sunday School hour as well.  Again we have been so blessed by the outpouring of support we have had from our little non-mega church.  Sometimes it seems like Christian churches, although all part of the body of Christ seem to be in a competition against each other.  Bigger is not always better but genuine is better.  We could be so much more effective if we realized we were on the same team and worked together.

As I said on my last post, my family doctor was having surgery Friday for “stones” whether that be kidney or gall.  Dr Q we hope you are doing better and will continue to pray for you; we ask our friends on here to lift Dr Q up as well for a speedy recovery.

The gout-like (technically undiagnosed, thus we say gout-like) attack is resolving by applying the Amish Origins cream multiple times a day.  Here’s a picture in case you ever need to try it.  Guessing you non PA residents still have access but it may be more regional?

With the feet feeling a bit better we have been making it a point to walk more.  My Fitbit only has me down for a shade over 3,300 steps so far today but maybe with a few good days I can work back up towards 10,0000.  I know, “Easy does it!” but this seems like a good time to push a little.  Had it not been for the foot issues I’d like to think my recovery could be a little further along.

I hear we have some 70 degree days coming this week- that will make for a great opportunity to get some Vitamin D and some more steps.

Wishing you all a Blessed week as you seek out ways to bless those around you
