My heart broke when I walked in this morning seeing Sam with his head down on his tray with crackers and ginger ale in front of him. He is STILL nauseous and so miserable. Please lift him up to the Father and ask for relief. The nurse feels that all the medicine on an empty stomach makes it worse but he can’t eat because he’s so sick. He needs to get some fuel in his body and be able to get up and walk. He is just miserable – very hard to watch. Please keep praying…

Please tell Sam (as our son Will may have) that we have been praying for him since Will forwarded the email from Dan. CARING BRIDGE.ORG is another great website for posting updates! What a wonderful witness you both are!! We will keep reading your blogs!!
Love and prayers,

Dear Aurita, I’m wondering if suppositories are no longer used for nausea?
That’s a good question Caline. I will ask. They have some anti nausea medicine on order for him.
Redoubling my prayers that with God’s help Sam will overcome this hurdle as he has so many others, and that you will stay strong.
Dear Rita, Third day post-op is usually the worst- so he may be a day behind. Praying that tomorrow will be better. I know you want him home, but even with my last recent surgery I asked for another day, and the hospital/insurance let me stay. I do hope you will have help when you get him home; it seems you have a wonderful Christian Support Community and I’m sure they will help with more than prayers.
Thank you Sandy. That’s encouraging. Today is 3rd day post op. So I’m praying tomorrow is much better.
We too are praying that this is halted in the name of Jesus.
