March 14 Update

It was a good weekend.  I got a bunch of stuff done in the shop Saturday and burned a load of cardboard.  Seems the office was invaded by cardboard.  I haven’t been feeling very productive so it felt good to get some work done.

We are using Dad’s old pickup around the property; it’s proven quite useful.  I still have some front end parts to get installed but haven’t spent too much time doing anything to it since before November when this started.  (For now I’m not allowed to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk.)  My nephew had fallen asleep one morning and had an accident; I made a deal to buy it from the insurance company.  The best part was that he didn’t get hurt which was a huge blessing.

Sunday morning we had a combined service since we had a congregational meeting.  It was a nice service and I got to see a bunch of people that I do not normally see in a single service.  Of course with a congregational meeting there’s a great chance for a congregational dinner too.  So we had lots of great food and lots of church family to fellowship with.  It was a very good day.

I logged over 9000 steps Friday then just over 5000 and 5500 Saturday and Sunday respectively.  I’m trying to not overdo it but I am anxious to work on my recovery.  Today I didn’t make time for a walk but maybe tomorrow.

The heart rate is hanging in there with the new med changes so again that is a blessing.

Sorry for the blase update; we can just hope for something more exciting to share with you as long as it doesn’t involve a new DIAGNOSIS or a HOSPITALIZATION 😷.

Be Blessed

Sam
