A Place to Stay

Hi Everyone,

I haven’t posted since we left the hospital – 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Things were quite busy the first week as Sam required more care. As he progresses things are becoming more “normal” as much as possible right now.

When Sam was in the hospital I was able to stay with a very gracious lady named Stella. She and her niece opened their home to me and made me feel at home and taken care of. They showed me how to use the “uber” and prayed for Sam and I before and during our time in Philly. They even had their neighbor praying for us. This is a picture of the two of them. They are both beautiful and caring and I so appreciated their hospitality. Sam wanted me to get a “selfie” of the three of us but I never managed to get that accomplished. Just wanted to say thank you again to Stella and Afia for taking me in and sharing in “our journey.” I not only had a wonderful place to stay – I gained two friends. God is good!
