The girls with Sam just before he was taken back for surgery.  Eyes were still dry at this point.

Nurse stated Sam’s procedure has begun.  The first incision being made at 3:44 pm and she felt certain they would be into his chest by now.  Rita and Emma are patiently waiting to see him.  They are staying positive and are smiling!!

They called from the hospital while we were on the way and they’ll take me soon as we get there so surgery may start closer to 2pm. I figure we oughtta be about halfway done by now but I can’t really see what they are doing Blessings to you

We had a prayer together before they took him away –thank you John. We were told it will be over an hour before they start. We are in the family waiting room where they will give us updates. Thank you all for your prayers. His grace is sufficient.
