Something the Lord made

Something the Lord Made.  The title of a movie that reminded me of you, Sam.  Always in my thoughts, I wonder what must be going through your mind.  Do you find comfort in knowing you are dearly loved by so many?  Or does this knowledge put a burden on a heart already troubled?

Something the Lord Made.  This is you.  You are something (someone) the Creator of the entire universe gave life.  From the moment He planted that little spark of life in your mother’s womb, His prophetic word would be fulfilled.  Even prior to your physical appearance, eons of time passed by while he perfected the life that resulted in a person we know as Sam Rose.  Even now, while God orchestrates some of the most amazing things in the world, He took time to ensure you have a place on this beautiful green earth.

Something the Lord Made.  The Lord made Sam Rose in his likeness and although your body may be broken, your soul is truly divine.  Perfect in every way, never to be extinguished, always shining more brightly than the sun above, your soul is a direct reflection of the perfection in God’s creation.  This, I believe, is the window into God’s being.  It’s a small part of the Holy Spirit that he plants within us.  Each of us down deep inside, was granted this gift so that we may never be alone.

Something the Lord Made.  Your mind that recognizes faith and trust in Him is one of the most powerful things in the universe.  Let the words of faith roll off your tongue and no matter what path you choose to take through your own free will and decisions, let those words be prophetic words of the Holy Spirit.  Let the words be your future and let that future be a certain as a stone is solid.  Just like your faith in Jesus Christ… Unwavering, shining, glory filled, righteous and wonderful is the future before you.

Trust in Jesus and your faith in God will get you through what lies ahead.  I have no doubt in my mind that you are in His hands.
