He’s Talking!

He was still unconscious when we finally got in to see him around 10:15. He was showing early signs of waking up. He was still intubated. As soon as he started waking up he became restless and uncomfortable with the breathing tube. His nurse, Ashleigh said he was doing really well and commented on how strong he was. She said he would be on the “fast track. ” That sounded good to us. God continues to answer our prayers. Once he was able to relax, take some good breaths and answer some questions the breathing tube was removed. He is resting now. He is breathing good on his own but he feels like it’s difficult to breathe because of his incision and tubes in his chest. He’s only allowed ice chips right now. They don’t want him to be nauseous tomorrow when they get him up. I’m continuing to pray for full and complete healing. God is good!
